First of all, we talk about the influence of humidity on the construction of epoxy flooring: humidity refers to the content of moisture in the air, which is generally expressed by percentage. According to the construction requirements of epoxy floor paint, when the relative humidity of air is higher than 85%, the construction of epoxy floor paint can not be carried out, because it is prone to white, cracks and other defects. Humidity not only affects the construction of epoxy floor paint, but also affects the curing of the floor paint. When the humidity index is too large, it affects the floor paint. Its influence is often greater than people imagine.
Excessive humidity will cause dew on the surface of the coating. Condensed water will destroy the curing agent and cause the phenomenon of whitening, losing light, sticking and Re-sticking of the coating, which will greatly reduce the decorative effect of the surface and cause rework in serious cases. Especially solvent-free topcoat, the surface drying time is generally longer. It is dangerous to paint in the rain immediately after painting or in the evening of winter and spring. The influence of temperature on epoxy floor construction:
The construction temperature of floor should be controlled in the range of 10-35 C, and special floor coatings should be used when exceeding this range. In the process of coating and curing of floor coatings (especially topcoats) before surface drying, the surface temperature of the substrate should be higher than dew point 3 C, in order to prevent water vapor condensation on the surface of the substrate and wet film from affecting the adhesion and surface effect of the coating. Summer construction requirements
It is suitable to construct in the morning or evening in summer. Temperature should be measured during construction. When the temperature exceeds 35 C, construction should be avoided in order to improve the health of construction personnel and the quality of coating film. In wet and rainy days, it is necessary to measure relative humidity and dew point temperature, inspect the quality of the dried film at any time, and repair it in time when cracks, orange peel and peeling occur. For two-component coatings, slow volatile solvents should be used as far as possible in the preparation of diluents and curing agents. When mixing A and B components, the principle of a small amount and many times of diligent mixing should be adopted to prevent the phenomenon of excessive heat release in the curing of coatings from causing paint scrap. When the temperature is too high, two-component coatings, especially insoluble two-component coatings, are prone to explosion. That is to say, the reaction of coatings is too fast and a large amount of heat release shortens the service life of coatings. In high temperature construction, although the drying rate of the coating will be faster, the next coating should be carried out according to a certain painting interval even if the measurement is dry.

When there is fog or the surface of the coating is covered with water vapor and frost and snow, it is not suitable for outdoor construction. During construction, the surface temperature of the coating should be higher than dew point 3 C, and the temperature should not be lower than the minimum temperature prescribed by the drying of the coating. When construction is under 10 (?) C, it is generally necessary to work from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to make full use of the time when the temperature is high, organize the construction force and complete the work as soon as possible. As far as possible, select special winter curing coatings. If the paint is too thick and difficult to be coated, solvents with a faster volatilization rate of less than 5% can be added, such as acetone, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, etc. Coatings can be stored in a warm environment or heated by hot water or steam (which may result in a decline in the quality of the paint). When a thermothermal coating is applied, the temperature shall not exceed 38 C unless a special coating heating device is used. When the flash point of the coating is below 38 C, the heating temperature shall not exceed its flash point. Pay attention to opening the lid of the packaging barrel, avoid water vapor entering, prohibit direct heating with open fire or electric fire, and pay attention to safety when heating. Compared with the conventional coating requirements, the number of coating paths can be increased and the coating interval can be prolonged on the premise of guaranteeing the film thickness. After testing the film dry, the next coat is applied.

1. Material transported to the construction site in the construction environment must be placed in a place where wind, rain and direct sunlight can be avoided. If the sunlight is directly exposed to the construction surface, the air ions contained in the basic layer or in the film which has not yet been completely hardened will cause small air holes due to poor discharge, so the whole window should be covered with newspapers or plastic sheets. In order to prevent the wind from blowing dust from the outside to pollute the construction face, during the construction period when the membrane is completely hardened, the ventilation areas such as doors, windows and crevices should be sealed with protective tape. At the same time, it is necessary to prevent the wind from blowing into the crevice from bringing dust. Attention should not be paid to the construction under the environment of less than 5 C. If possible, heating or air conditioning can be turned on. When it rains, the open part should be closed to avoid dampness affecting the construction surface, but do not hinder ventilation.
2. Safety and health management requirements are also important. Personnel engaged in construction must be specially trained and have a certain knowledge of chemical products; during construction, they must wear work clothes, shoes and anti-labor articles; when various materials accidentally touch the skin, they sometimes damage the skin, clean it with soap as soon as possible, and send it to hospital for treatment seriously; and all kinds of materials are not allowed to touch any moisture (water ring). Except for oxygen floor coating, each worker should wear a towel to wipe sweat to prevent sweat from dripping into the ground or materials during construction; because epoxy floor material contains trace combustibles, fireworks are strictly prohibited at the construction site, and materials on the site are not allowed to be placed in direct sunlight.
